The Brown County Delight connects many cycling highlights in the area. Bloomington is about an hour’s drive south of Indianapolis and is conveniently located close to a number of state parks and a large national forest, all within a day’s bike from Bloomington and nestled in-surprise-some very scenic and hilly terrain. Its reputation as being flat is well deserved, but only for its northern half.

In 1932, the Amana Society chose to abandoned the communal ways. In latter days, the villages were communal with families living, working, and eating together. The Amana Colonies are a set of seven historic villages spaced approximately 7 miles apart. While on the gravel routes, the riders will experience historical points of interest in Middle Amana, Amana](1524407), and Amana](1524408).
